In the event that the Client needs to cancel their scheduled event, they are required to provide written notice to the Caterer. The cancellation notice should also include any required cancellation fee as stipulated in the Catering Contract to successfully effect the cancellation. The Client should be aware that when they enter into the Contract, the Caterer will have already committed time and resources towards the Event. As a result, cancelling the Event would cause the Caterer to incur lost income and missed business opportunities that are difficult to quantify precisely. In light of this, the Caterer has put in place limitations that will apply in the event of cancellation.
If the Client requests for cancellation of the Contract ten days or more before the scheduled Event, the Caterer shall be entitled to 70% of the Estimated Total Cost.
